Dr. Hawawini received his dual major science degrees in Biology and Chemistry from Cleveland State University in 1994, then he completed a one year of master in genetic prior to pursuing his medical education. 

In 2000, Dr. Hawawini graduated from with a DPM degree from New York College of Podiatric Medicine.  

Dr. Hawawini completed his residency in Podiatry Medicine In Philadelphia, PA. Subsequently, he received additional surgical training at East Orange Veteran Affairs Medical Centers.

Dr. Hawawini had been in private practice since 2003.  He moved from  Jesrey Shore where he used to practice at Hazlet, Sea Girt prior to settling down in beautiful Jersey City.
